Senior Planning Engineer

The Role
1) Coordinating information for creating unique Programs for individual Projects using Primavera 2) Preparation of Project Budget & Calculation of detailed man-hours, machine hours, etc. 3) Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones. 4) Lead the planning team to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of operations for different projects 5) Anticipate a contract's / project(s) demand in terms of labor, materials, equipment, technical challenges, etc. 6) Working with the team to draw up plans and presenting schedules of work 7) Utilize a systematic approach to monitor and control the project costs in accordance with the established budget after the design has been finalized. 8) To monitor, analyze, control, and report current and forecast progress and manpower histograms against approved contract schedules to enable project and corporate management to ensure that final project turnover dates are within the approved contract schedule. Ensure the project is executed to the project management practices and the requirements within the contract. 9) Ensure the project is executed to the project management practices and the requirements within the contract. 10) Coordinate with legal and commercial departments regarding potential claims 11) Resource Loading in Primavera for individual Projects 12) Preparation of manpower Calculation & utilization schedule 13) Preparation of recovery program to catch up on delays 14) Preparation of short-term detailed schedule based on baseline schedule 15) Regularly performs supervisory tasks and is responsible for making an evaluation. 16) Consider the costs and possibilities of reducing them without compromising quality or safety. 17) Determine the best ways to move materials, machinery, and equipment between locations, and coordinate all the resources. 18) To interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks. 19) Undertake the planning and resource loading for the assigned work scope(s), giving proactive, effective advice on the feasibility of plans, the impact of any changes, and any required mitigating actions. 20) Assessing risk to the delivery of schedules, recommending risk-reducing actions where required. 21) Preparation of work breakdown structures to enable the associated resource and cost budgets. 22) Support the schedule change control requirements within the project/area team, analyzing the change for its potential impact and advising on the correct course of mitigating action. 23) Interact with other work pack planning staff in order to maintain the logic between deliverables in major projects & where necessary establish recovery plans. 24) Preparation of work breakdown structures to enable the associated resource and cost budgets. 25) Personally, responsible for the quality of their work, whilst making a positive contribution to the quality of both the department and the work carried out by their colleagues.
**Requirements**:
a) Engineering Graduate from a reputable Institute (Civil Engineering) b) 10+ Years of Experience, preference will be given to those who have previous KSA Experience in Building Constructions c) Project Planning & Management (Primavera, PSP, PMP, PMI, Risk Management Etc.)
