Local Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are now recruiting for a **Local Manufacturing Operations Manager**, based in **Sudair,** **Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**. And reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work for a world leader in diabetes care, haemophilia, growth hormones therapy, and obesity.

**The Position**

As a Local Manufacturing Operations Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will work in collaboration with Local Manufacturing Operations in Denmark to ensure that Novo Nordisk insulin products packed are in compliance with requirements in Novo Nordisk specifications and quality agreements.

You should have a strong understanding of the process and equipment relevant to the NN products being packed, to be able through this expertise, to support, guide, and challenge the le line of business in the manufacturing process. The main process will be labelling, Packaging, Quality Control, and warehousing within fully automated lines at contract manufacture.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To:

- Daily Novo Nordisk oversight at the production facilities at our contract manufacture (CMO) in Saudi.
- Support, guide and challenge the work in the production site in Saudi during the preparation of deviations, change requests, Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA), and systematic problem-solving.
- Perform process confirmation according to the production processes, ensure that potential gaps are mitigated and that ad-hoc training is being carried out when a need is registered.
- Have an overview of all Novo Nordisk activities at the CMO and understand the potential impact on the production plan and capacity.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally within a multinational pharma or FMCG industry with packaging and Quality Control as the primary area of expertise.
- Good knowledge of GXP
- Experience within contract manufacturing.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical background within production equipment is considered an advantage.

Local Manufacturing (LM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation, and our primary role is the establishment and operation of manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required to obtain market access. We play a vital part in bringing product to patients worldwide, by ensuring an efficient supply chain both at our contract manufactures and local sites.
