WSP in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Civil Inspector to join our team working on an airport project. The Civil Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of airport infrastructure construction, adhering to design specifications and safety standards.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of construction activities.
- Verify that materials used in construction meet the specified standards and requirements.
- Ensure that construction methods and techniques comply with design drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformances to the project team for corrective action.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve construction-related issues and maintain project timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports, daily logs, and other project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on the status of construction activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all construction activities adhere to health and safety protocols.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably in airport projects.
- Strong knowledge of airport design standards, construction methods, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English.
