- V-45**Basic Functions**
- Performs aircraft maintenance tasks on the UH-60M as required using the specific OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Removes and installs aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft systems, subsystems, and components. Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions. Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures. Performs aircraft and related components routine and special inspections. Performs maintenance operational checks. Diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Responsible to develop and execute phase plans from Pre-Dock to Post Test flight. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

**Minimum Qualifications**

**A.** Education Level:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Associate degree or higher

**B.** Training Certifications:
1. Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training and experience

2. FAA A&P certificate

3. FAA IA certificate

**C.** Experience:
1. Five (5) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic on UH-60 series

2. Ten (10) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic

3. Experience in UH-60 phase or RESET management

4. US Military or civilian equivalent rotary wing aviation technical inspector experience

**D.** Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
1. Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on UH60 Aircraft

2. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation

3. Proficient in MS Office software

4. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

5. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner

6. Possess a valid issued driver’s license.

7. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire
