Responsible for assisting in operation of the outpatient clinics and patient care.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Ensures quality assurance and performance improvement programs are developed and implemented in accordance with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards and the hospital quality program. Actively participates in KFSH&RC performance improvement (PI) activities.

2. Develops/updates Internal Policies and/or Procedures (IPP) for assigned Department in accordance with hospital policies and in compliance with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.

3. Maintains an effective supply order/inventory system. Ensures that optimum levels or supplies are continuously available to provide uninterrupted services.

4. Liaises with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve problems.

5. Ensures that hospital safety procedures are implemented and practiced.

6. Prepares long/short term goals and objectives for assigned Department.

7. Participates in hospital committees and meetings as assigned.

8. Assists with the development of Internal Policies and/or Procedures (IPP) for assigned Department.

9. Triages all physicians’ daily consultation (average 10-15).

10. Responsible for assigned Department disaster recall pager.

11. Generates all statistical data for clinic as needed.

12. Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.

13. Participates actively in Quality Management Projects.

14. Participates actively in Performance Improvement Projects.

15. Develops and implements training programs for staff. Ensures staff receives appropriate orientation, training and access to continuing education.

16. Evaluates equipment, recommends purchase or continued use/disposal. Be fully familiar with and manage all aspects of equipment contracts, service and maintenance.

17. Participates in self and Hospital quality improvement plan prefers.

18. Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health field is required.

**Experience Required**:
Grade 09: One (1) year of related experience in the same major is required with the Master’s degree or three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year in the same major is required with the Bachelor’s degree.

Grade 10: Three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year in the same major is required with the Master’s degree or five (5) years of related experience including two (2) years in the same major is required with the Bachelor’s degree.
