This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, client regulations, and safety standards. This may involve inspecting materials, workmanship, and equipment, as well as reviewing construction plans and specifications.
- Identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards or code violations and work closely with contractors to address any issues that are found.
- Monitoring the progress of construction projects to ensure that contractors are on schedule and within budget. This may involve coordinating with different subcontractors and suppliers, as well as tracking project expenditures.
- Communicating regularly with all stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that any potential problems are identified and addressed early on.
- Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and findings to track the progress of projects and to ensure that all required inspections have been completed
- Identify potential problems and defects in construction work.
- Think critically and come up with solutions to problems that arise on construction sites.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of people, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and clients.
- Work effectively with other members of the construction team.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Perform inspections of all aspects of construction projects, including foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Identify and document defects in construction work
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, tradespeople, and clients
- Manage teams of workers and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

**Construction Supervisor Experience**:

- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in construction engineering with at least 4 in a recognised PMC or consultancy company.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
- Construction methods and materials
- Familiar with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Construction planning, bidding, operations, and inspection
- Local construction materials and methods
- Safety procedures
- Project management principles
