- Job Purpose
Issues design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation for SSE's projects and operations (from proposal to execution), in accordance with design and manufacturing standards and processes, schedule, and man hours.
Prepares basic level CAD detail drawings, sub-assemblies, final assemblies and DBIs with complete dimensional data for engineering or manufacturing purposes for Wellhead equipment and Trees according to international standards API and ISO, and TFMC engineering rules and processes.
Job Description
- Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with client's requirements, the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
- To create Solid Models and 2D drawings for the following as required by a project:

- Conceptual Design Layouts from inception of design (from freehand sketch/verbal instruction, marked up layouts), for Quotes, Concept, Research & Development, and System Engineering Phase of project.
- Create detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing
- Highlight task Alterations to Designer and Design Engineers.
- To ensure Unigraphics Features comply with TFMC and Industry Standards e.g. American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standard Institute (ANSI).
- Checking of interfaces/interference’s between components.
- Full understanding of electronic data management system to be able to generate Engineering Change Notices and Database Information Sheets and issue it
- Creates and reviews running procedures (document ownership).
- Prepares and conducts design reviews.
You are meant for this job if:

- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:_
- Professional certification / Technical diploma or equivalent (mechanical engineering preferred)
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:_
- _CAD drafting training in a technical trade institution or equivalent experience. _
- _Minimum three years experience as a draughtsman within TFMC engineering or equivalent experience in similar industry. _
- REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:_
- _Intermediate knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools_
- _Accuracy and attention to detail_
- _Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities and solve problems_
- _Ability to work in a team-oriented and diverse cultural environment_
- _Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English_
- REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE: _
- _Knowledge with wellhead product lines, oilfield environment preferred _
