Ladle Preparation (Cleaning with oxygen lancing, slide gate plate, nozzles and porous plug dismantling and re-fixing, patching and nozzle sand filling etc).
- Preheater operation and ladle gunning. Job is in hot environment and dusty atmosphere.
- Ladle health monitoring and reporting.
- Ladle shift log book maintaining.
- In spare time also help the refractory mason during shutdown jobs in DC-EAF.
- To perform refractory related other jobs if required in all areas like EAF, LF, CCM and associated units in Steel Melt Shop as instructed by the refractory shift in charge.
- Get feedback from Shift reliever and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Make sure all PPE used during ladle preparation activities & Follow Company Safety rules regulations & follow work procedure.7-10th Standard with 5-10 years of experience as ladle operator in steel plant. Position requires the ability to work in Steel Plant Facility & Experience in work in 150 tons Ladle at hot and dusty condition.
Age 22 to 35 years.
