**JOB SUMMARY**

As a Pediatric Plastic Surgery Assistant Consultant in a top-tier hospital in **Saudi Arabia,** your primary role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients with congenital or acquired plastic and reconstructive surgical needs. Deliver comprehensive plastic surgery care to pediatric patients, addressing congenital anomalies, trauma, and other acquired conditions. Perform and assist in a variety of pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, ensuring precision and optimal outcomes._ _

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in the **P**ediatric** Plastic Surgery **field.
- Manage complex medical cases independently.
- Provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
- Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
- Engage in clinical research activities.
- Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
- Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.
- Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies.
- Pursue continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in the medical field.
- Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Advocate for patient rights and welfare.
- Ensure a patient-centered approach in medical care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Lead and participate in emergency medical responses.
- Provide expertise in critical and urgent medical situations.***

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:

- Graduate from a Medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in Plastic Surgery and/or Subspecialty (Pediatric)
- Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for Assistant Consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must
- Dataflow is a must.

**Professional Experience**
- +2 years experience after certification.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable

**Language**
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
