We would like to offer you the position of Associate Clinical Specialist, Diabetes. As the Associate Clinical Specialist, you will report to Senior Sales Manager, Diabetes and will support the sales team within an assigned territory with new device installations to the patients, device troubleshooting, demo inventory setup and customer in-service.

**A Day in the Life**
- Educate and follow-up on patients regarding all the technical aspects of Medtronic Diabetes Technology include Continuous Insulin Infusion and Continuous Glucose Monitoring.
- Train and follow-up on Diabetes Nurse Educators regarding all the technical aspects of Medtronic Diabetes Technology include Continuous Insulin Infusion and Continuous Glucose Monitoring.
- Be involved in the training and certification process for the Diabetes Nurse Educators at the diabetes hospitals and clinics as per the Medtronic Certified Product Trainer program.
- Request a Basic Diabetes Education session for patients who need it (disease, management, symptoms, complications, etc.).
- Request Carb Counting sessions for patients who need it (referral to Certified Dietitians).
- On-board patients into new Insulin Pump Models and ensure that the patient is meeting the agreed upon end points Hemoglobin A1C test (HbA1C), Blood Glucose (BG) levels etc.
- Play a central and focal role of support to the patients with educational material.
- Organize patient activities to share learnings, success stories and networking activities in collaboration with the territory sales representative.
- Be responsible for building, developing, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, key opinion leaders, and diabetes nurse educators.
- Liaise with the Diabetes Marketing unit to ensure marketing and educational materials are aligned with Medtronic’s product therapy.
- Ensure proper management of patients’ complaints and timely reporting as per Medtronic policies and guidelines.
- Document explicitly on all the training activities and related tasks to meet the business objectives such as, but not limited to, Patient Training Checklists per therapy, Start Right program sign-in, and New installed patients on pump therapy.
- Provide feedback of marketing intelligence to sales and marketing management business unit.

- Bachelor’s degree required preferable medical degree biomedical, nutritionist fields etc.
- 0-2 years of experience required with an introductory knowledge of company products and services
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time
- Good command of English in writing and in speech

**Nice to Haves**
- Knowledge of the medical diabetes devices and technology
