Merchandise Planning Analyst

The Merchandise Planning Analyst works in collaboration with the Business unit Team to deliver on the business strategy by leading the development and ongoing management of the pre-Season and In-season annual and weekly financial plans and evaluating Commercial activities and promotional plans. Through data-driven recommendations, Manage Different Stores Format assortment through allocating right product in right place with right quantities that matches shopper journey.
**Accountabilities**
- Develops category financial plans to achieve sales and profit goals. Recommends actions based on historical performance and forecasts comparing various scenarios.
- Conceptualizes highly complex analytics to provide insights for proactive issue resolution and evaluations. Provides post mortem analysis of merchant category to identify trends and recommendations to maximize results.
- Implements the Merchandise Planning strategy Different Stores Format profiles through -Oracle Planning module
- Identifies item level opportunities to drive performance while controlling inventory levels by leveraging data and insights. Analyzes sales trends, item level data (Items Performance review and Range Rationalization)
- Quantify commercial activities, new items seeding Plan. Marketing activities.
- Monitor and provide Data Driven recommendation to Improve working capital and accelerate ROS
- Monitor and provide Data Driven recommendation to Decrease legacy SOH
- Monitor and provide Data Driven recommendation to Decrease Overstock in Stores and DCs to improve inventory turn.
- Execute the quantification aspect of the merchandise management process to ensure that all activities are within budget and could be tracked.
- Ensure correct levels of stock in stores and in DCs in order to meet customers demand and monitor inventory movement including store transfers and return to suppliers Joint Business Plans, Assists with developing and implementation of joint business plans with suppliers in order to achieve best practice.
- Assists in the development of standardized merchandise Planning Processes and reporting to ensure continues improvement and build sustainable business model
- Establishes guidelines, best practices and standards.
Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned

- Working Hours : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour break)
**Job Requirement**
**Education**
- **Bachelor Degree, Finance Business administration is preferred**
**Experience**
- **1-3 Years**
**Computer Skills**
- **MS office suite, IT Literate in data management, database SQL**
**Languages**
