We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join the team. The role will be based in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for increasing the market share and net revenue of the Fugro business.
The position incumbent will be responsible for growing a pipeline of project leads and opportunities in a strategic manner, developing and maintaining an effective relationship with key stakeholders and positioning Fugro best to develop strategic projects for site characterization and asset integrity solutions.
As part of his/her action plan, the KAM will create and execute marketing and sales activities aligned with the business lines goals. He/she will keep the management team regularly updated with market intelligence and client challenges, plans and issues. The operations and project management teams shall be supported by his/her input throughout the life of project contracts.
The duties will include market analysis, lead generation, strategic account management, client liaison and the development and presentation of proposals. All the activities will be reported through Fugro’s CRM system.
The Key Account Manager will work closely with the country management in Saudi and the regional management team in Dubai, reporting on progress on a weekly basis. However, the ability to work independently is crucial in this role, with self-motivated performance key to success. Success in this role will lead to increasing profitable revenue growth for Fugro.
Job responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare samples to be tested, register, test, store, and dispose of them in accordance with applicable standard laboratory quality procedures (SOPs and QF-96).
- Perform Laboratory Testing for which he is qualified (skilled as per skill matrix) and produce test data on standard format worksheets in a precise and timely manner in accordance with standard procedure, and sign the worksheets at the completion of a test.
- Perform test data calculations, plot results and prepare test reports to be checked by a Senior Technician, Laboratory Supervisor or Laboratory Manager.
- Before each test, ensure all required equipment is in good working order and calibrations are up to date; carry out routine maintenance as well as performance checks, when required.After a test, ensure equipment and tools are in good condition and if not, ensure they receive proper attention and rectification; keep superior informed and take appropriate actions. Perform general housekeeping duties in the laboratory.Assist Senior Laboratory Technician and QA Engineer/Advisor with internal equipment verification and calibration.
- Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.
You bring (qualifications & experience):
1) High School or Secondary Vocational Education.
2) Good in written and oral English, having knowledge of computer, produces good quality of work with reliability.
3) 0-3 Years of working experience
