Tax & Accounting Manager

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

The Accounting & Tax Manager is an integral member of the finance community of Hilti Saudi Arabia and will lead Financial Accounting and Tax topics for the organization. You will develop and drive a wide range of Accounting & Tax financial analysis focused on business trends and evaluation of performance, projections and reports to support in driving business results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
- Develop and drive a wide range of Acc & Tax financial analysis focused on business trends and evaluation of performance, projections and reports. Create transparency in presentations for senior management
- Lead financial accounting topics including month end closing, Profit & Loss Statement (P&L), Balance Sheet, statutory accounting and audit
- Adhere to statutory and organization policies, procedures and timetables
- Own local Tax matters including corporate income tax, Zakat and VAT
- Support local team or Shared Service Centre with the annual audit, month end close and production of financial statements as required
- Prepare monthly reports and submit data on specific (Acc & Opex financial and business results
- Establish clear, consistent reporting processes and reporting landscape for the market. Ensure timely and accurate monthly deployment.
- Work closely with shared service Centre and local stakeholders on P2P, OtC and GL process
- Support the Finance Business Partner (FBP) in Cash flow planning and Treasury management
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve tax processes and improve compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely data and report availability
- Drive standardization, automation and process improvement
- Contribute to local and global projects to support Finance or the market’s long-term strategy
- Develop and coach team members

- Degree in Business, Finance, or Related Field and either professional accounting qualifications or Masters
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounting leadership role within a multinational organization
- Demonstrated experience in working with KSA markets and corporate income tax, Zakat and VAT is an advantage
- Proficient English written and verbal communication
- Strong business planning, financial planning (forecasting/budgeting) and analysis skills
- Experience in financial planning, modelling and analysis and reporting software preferred (e.g. Excel, Access, Tagetik, SAP Analytics, SQL, Tableau)
- The ability to lead a team under remote conditions
- Effective communication skills, including ability to structure clear presentations and the ability to simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders
- The ability to work effectively under pressure to achieve superior results within the deliverable timeframe, and with the available resources
