**Scope and Purpose**:
New position to support the growth of our activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You will be the sole Legal Counsel to oversee and be responsible for all work related to Legal, Compliance and Data-Privacy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On an Ad-hoc basis, support the Legal Regional Officer based in Dubai, with other side projects in the Middle-East.

**Key Result Areas & Responsibilities**:
Your experience must include independent legal preparation, drafting, review and negotiation of both simple and complex contracts. For clarity purpose, this is a proper legal position and absolutely not a procurement position.
The work is complex and requires sound experience in contract law (and particularly commercial contract), legal principle and terminology, technology and software licenses, contract drafting and the negotiation of large, complex deal, from scratch.

**You will also be required to**:
Provide legal analysis, comprehensive risk assessment and related advice to address, manage and mitigate the risks;
Negotiate with customers and protect the company interest;
Identify topics that require communication to and consultation with personnel/functions in other department as well as coordinate work with other department team members (sale, service, project management, finance) in order to anticipate, understand and fulfill each department's contracting needs;
Implement and enhance contracting procedures;
Create new template and update existing templates;
Provide advice and support to other Departments in meeting obligations associated with contracts and agreements;
Experience of private and public tenders;
Experience of RFQ and RFP;
Draft, organize and review preparation of integral corporate documents/materials that are required in various corporate activities such as but not limited to audits, labour relations, etc.
Compliance and Data-Privacy
Ensure and monitor the implementation and obedience of the company Code of Conduct and guidelines as well as with international and national relevant framework, in relation to Compliance as well as Data-Privacy matters.

**Job Requirements**:
Minimum Bachelor in Law; LLM is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in commercial & contractual law matters.
Ability to review, negotiate and draft all sorts of contracts (service agreements, supply & license agreements in relation to products/solution and/or software, subcontract).
Knowledge and experience in the legal system of Saudi Arabia.
Knowledge and experience in a western legal system ( US, E.U., U.K., Canada or Australia) is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Deep knowledge and work experience in the areas commercial law and contract is a must.
Highly detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills.
Experience in the banking sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Excellent judgment, and must have the ability to work autonomously. Ability to function in a highly confidential environment. Demonstrated ability to work with senior level executives.
Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other programs applicable to handling corporate matters.
English and Arabic Legal proficiency.
Must be a member in good standing of a Legal Bar Association.
To be positioned in Dammam, KSA, with occasional travel to Riyadh.
