Performs a variety of tasks in clinical settings in collaboration with medical and nursing staff and accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care to specific patient population.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Coordinates solid/ pediatricorgan transplantation with patient, donors, families, medical staff, organdonor coordinators and administrative staff.
- Provides care to adult/pediatric Patients with and stage organ disease, potential living related solid/pediatric organ donors and cadaveric donors.
- Provides appropriatefollow-up care to recipients and donors ensuring all relevant information isavailable to enable patients to make informed decisions and choices concerningtheir treatment options.
- Maintains and regularlyreviews clinical status of adult/ pediatric patients on the waiting list fordonation and ensure all diagnostic investigations and results are up to date;ensuring logístical arrangements are in place to facilitate emergency admissionfor transplant.
- Functions as aspecialist nurse to provide support and education to staff and patients in thespecific specialty areas.
- Organizes andparticipate multi-disciplinary team conferences, rounds or meetings related tocare of transplant adult/ pediatric patient or program issues.
- Responsible for orderingand following up diagnostic test and procedure as per physician order and solidorgan transplant protocols.
- Coordinates anddocuments patient care utilizing the nursing care plan, medical records,teaching material and patient teaching records.
- Documents all relevantinformation correctly, appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Supports and educationto staff patients and their families in the specialty area.
- Participate in 24-hourtransplant and organ coordinator on-call rotation.
- Follows all Hospital’srelated Policies and Procedures.
- Participates in self andothers' education, training and development, as applicable.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursingis required.

**Experience Required**:
Four (4) years of relatedexperience is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Current Registration from country of origin andSaudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
