The Senior Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical expertise, and lead the development of data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and drive data engineering and digitalization initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines, data integration processes, and data transformation workflows to ensure efficient and accurate data capture, storage, and analysis.
- Utilize data engineering tools and technologies, such as ETL frameworks, data warehouses, and data lakes, to enable data-driven decision-making and support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify data needs, define data models, and develop data structures that enable effective data analysis and visualization.
- Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and digitalization, leveraging emerging technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation.
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of data engineering and digitalization systems and platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in the development and implementation of data engineering and digitalization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs for team members.
- Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and partners to leverage their expertise and resources for data engineering and digitalization projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements in data engineering and digitalization activities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the data engineering and digitalization team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Min 5 years of experience in data engineering, digitalization, or a related field, with a focus on developing and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, practices, and technologies, including ETL frameworks, data integration, and data modeling.
