Weather Technician

This position is contingent upon contract award.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Perform duties as Weather Technician at a foreign military airfield location.
- Provide weather-based customer service in a Base Operations facility supporting operational, training, and maintenance flights.
- Provide oversight for on-the-job training for host nation personnel working alongside the Base Operations personnel.
- Attend Company and MNG Airfield-related meetings/training as required.
- Responsible for coordinating weather forecasts with other weather technicians supporting the MNG Aviation community as other locations.
- Maintain the highest ethical personal and professional standards.

**POSITION SCOPE AND CHARTER**
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum 3 years experience working either Base Operations or Flight Operations Weather support in preferably a military environment.
- Military Aviation Operations experience is preferred, especially AFSC 1WOX1 or Army MOS 93E.
- Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.
- Must be comfortable working with host nation military personnel.
- Familiarization with AR 95-20 and DCMA 8210.1c. for Airfield Operations.
- Must have a valid state operator's license and be able to pass the government licensing requirements.
- Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data
- Will be required to travel when deemed necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit or reach with hands and arms. The employee is also occasionally required to climb a ladder.

Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May require lifting of objects whose weight sometime exceeds fifty (50) pounds.
