Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL) is seeking an Integration and Senior Transport Assurance Specialist based in the Middle East Africa (MEA) Region.

**Job Summary**:Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL) is seeking a Senior Integration & Transport Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for leading a new project setup in the Middle East Africa (MEA) region during the transition into execution after receiving notice to proceed. The role will focus on getting a project prepared to successfully make its first shipment. This role will also provide support to BGL's Transport Assurance program relative to reviewing transport plans for cargo >45MT, performing route surveys and assisting with technical transportation activities by leveraging best practices, work processes, and proven knowledge across various projects. **In addition to performing functional work, the role will also support the coordination and movements of pipe, steel and other critical cargo in or out of the Middle East**.

**Description**:
This role will also support the BGL Transport Assurance Lead and will require the individual to have extensive technical experience on global industrial projects. Will require the ability to read and comprehend technical transport drawings and plans, comment for review and modification and iterative interface with clients, engineers, naval architects, and marine warranty insurance surveyors. Working time zone will be flexible based on the demand from active projects around the world.

Requires the role to be Middle East based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support international projects on their local time zone.

**Core Responsibilities**:
The deliverables for this Senior Integration and Transport Assurance Specialist will be:

- kickoff setup of project in OTM
- Update of the Execution Plan
- Interface with team who manages prequalification of project preferred LSP
- Review the logistics acquisition plan and associated schedule for setting up logistics agreements timeline
- Validating the staffing plan / Smart Staff updates
- Coordinate with OPS Lead to Develop job descriptions and get positions posted
- Participate with recruiting and interview process
- Develop Power BI reports for the project
- Update any project procedures and desktop guides
- Maintain project action plan
- Enhance the project risk register
- Handover with BGL deployed lead / team
- Support logistics activities involving the movement of steel out of the Middle East

This is a leadership position supporting multiple projects in a centralized BGL functional role and also supporting movement of steel out of the Middle East. Primary focus will be on transition from front-end estimates and proposals to the execution and operations phase that requires interface with project management and client organizations directly or indirectly via the Project Logistics Lead or Project Procurement Manager. Additional expectations include:

- Assists the Bechtel Global Logistics Manager and Corporate Logistics Manager as requested.
- Assists with preparation of logistics studies including site and Logistics service provider facility visits.
- Integrates safety requirements and measures in all Logistics activities.
- Career-level position within the logistics discipline. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization.
- Capable of resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways.
