Ensure that all routine Hospital operational activities during off duty hours, weekends, and holidays are performed in accordance with the hospital policies and Administrative requirements. Acts upon matters of urgent nature, which could not be postponed until normal duty hours for Hospital Administration. Serves as the principal contact person on behalf of Hospital Administration during off duty hours, weekends and holidays.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Maintains an effective AOD monitoring system of any deficiencies and complaints related to Medical Staff, responses to patient needs, and Hospital operations during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.
2. Serves as the principal contact person on behalf of Hospital Administration during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. Serves as Administrator-on-Call.
3. Directs the Hospital operational activities performed during off duty hours, weekends and Holidays.
4. Assists in monitors enforcement of administrative admissions criteria for Hospital inpatients through Department of Emergency Medicine and other sources.
5. Acts on emergency matters during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays concerning Hospital Employee/ dependents with or without coordination with the concerned signatory authority, as appropriate.
6. Assists the assigned Administrator of the Department of Emergency Medicine during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.
7. Assists the Medical Administrator-on-Call regarding all medical issues including medical conflicts, referrals and patient care issues.
8. Assists Case Management personnel and Admission Office with discharges, transfer and admission of patient.
9. Assists official Hospital's guests and international visiting professors and speakers in any international or national conferences and symposiums.
10. Receives VIPs when Protocol Staff is not available.
11. Receives all incoming calls directed to the Chief Executive Officer, COO, EDMCA, and other Hospital Administration staff during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays.
12. Collects and analyses pertinent information, makes recommendations to improve the Hospital operation and submits summary report/s as needed/requested.
13. Participates in self and Hospital's quality improvement plan preferred.
14. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Grade 10:Three (3) years of related with Master’s, or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Grade 11:five (5) years of related with Master’s, or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
- Saudi National only.
