You will work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and work on impactful projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Client’s development team in the management of consultants specializing in the design of roads & road related works;
- Assist the Client’s development team in managing the technical delivery of roads design by design consultants maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance through meticulous checking;
- Aids design managers in managing, reviewing and providing technical inputs to the document submittals produced by the Consultant throughout the entire design review process from concept through detailed design development until obtaining final Authority approvals;
- Coordinate with other disciplines, consultants, and attend design and any other meetings as and when required;
- Assist in the pre-construction procurement process by checking of Consultant’s design & contract documentation for issuance of tender packages as required;
- Review Consultant’s design submission and reports, respond to technical queries and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent;
- Assist in the conventional road design practice but will be required to intervene in certain complex situations such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements;
- Provide guidance for assured design quality and compliance with the client’s requirements, design guidelines, statutory requirements, local and international codes, standards and norms, and international standards of independent firms that are carrying out the detailed design;
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD & BIM or other 3D computer-based design software

**Requirements**:

- Civil Engineering Degree from university with 7+ years of relevant experience in roads design management within consultancy and/or client representative;
- Minimum 5-years experience in managing the design/operation/maintenance of road works including bridges and other road related infrastructure facilities/assets;
- Knowledge of design process for concept and detailed design;
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards pertinent to the discipline;
- Thorough knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems and design calculations;
- Experience in working with BIM modelers for roads & road related structures;
- Time management for multiple tasks with multiple deadlines;
- Ability to tailor work effort to the time allocated to any specific tasks
