**Project Description**:
“Bechtel is currently bidding for The New Murabba Project Infrastructure” which will be built around the concept of sustainability, featuring green areas and walking and cycling paths that will enhance the quality of life by promoting healthy, active lifestyles and community activities. It will also feature an iconic museum, a technology and design university, a multipurpose immersive theater, and more than 80 entertainment and culture venues.

The project will be situated at the intersection of King Salman and King Khalid roads to the North West of Riyadh, over an area of 19 square kilometers, to accommodate hundreds of thousands of residents. The project will offer more than 25 million sqm of floor area, featuring more than 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, and more than 980,000 sqm of retail space, as well as 1.4 million sqm of office space, 620,000 sqm of leisure assets, and 1.8 million sqm of space devoted to community facilities.

The New Murabba project will offer a unique living, working and entertainment experience within a 15-minute walking radius and will have its own internal transport system. It will be approximately 20-minutes' drive from the airport.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Reviews and implements project plans, standard engineering details and specifications for constructability and conformance to regulatory requirements and productivity improvement.
- Monitors and manages progress of the Lead Designer/Consultants Organization thru various positions which includes Design Manager, Engineering manager, Integration Manager, Stakeholder Manager and Master planner.
- Recommends and implements changes in design or construction methods where required.
- Advises project team of obvious discrepancies or trends that may be detrimental to the project.
- Sponsors and accommodate the project schedule, procedures and automation development programs related to work execution.
- Reviews essential contractual documents such as Scope of Work, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Information Report.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to make presentations, define project layout requirements, and obtain contractual and statutory approvals.
- Develops common guidelines and procedures for effective quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs.
- Monitors execution methodology on projects to learn from improvements and to promote continuous improvement.
- Support the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE**:

- Broad knowledge of all phases of engineering, field activities, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods for development of various work areas.
- Understands technical issues and cost related to selection of design features and unique engineering design requirements.
- Knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering design methods and systems.
- Broad knowledge of environmental compliance laws and requirements.
- Broad knowledge of government compliance standards.
- Broad knowledge of the building industry, regulatory standards.
- Has experience with engineering work planning, scheduling and cost estimating.
- Skilled in oral and written communication and has presentation skills.
- Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions.
- Experienced with managing knowledge of sustainability and its integration into the design and the construction of various buildings.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- A recognized Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, from an accredited college or university with a minimum overall
