Hiring for a client in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

QC Inspector -Equipment (Static)

Reports to Project Quality Manager and to Perform equipment related inspection.
Raise RFI to client as per ITP requirement & co-ordinate for inspection.
Perform surveillance inspection and raise NCR if any non conformity observed.
Prepare work procedure & ITP as per project specification & code requirement. Follow up with client for approval.
Potential issues are to identified and take corrective action immediately.
Understanding of P&ID, GAD, Isometric Drawings & layout drawings.
Knowledge on code & specification requirement - API storage tanks, ASME B31.3 /B31.4/ B31.8, ASME VIII.
Perform equipment erection inspections, both for equipment erected on civil foundations and top of structural steel which includes padding, pre-installation inspections, centreline matching, levelling and elevation checking of horizontal equipment’s, plumbness and elevation checking of vertical vessels as per approved ITP
Perform internal inspections for drums, vessels for internal cleanliness checking, vessel internals like screens, demister pads for their bolt tightness, any welding requirements and released the equipment’s for catalyst loading or for final box-ups of man ways
Monitor preservation of static and rotating equipment’s, preservation monitoring and inspection includes checking nitrogen purged vessels for maintenance of purging, on weekly basis and maintain the preservation logs
First alignment inspection prior to grouting, final alignment inspections with piping as per tolerances of vendor or as per tolerances of API 686 (equipment includes horizontal pumps, vertical pumps, compressors, blowers)

Previous Saudi Aramco experience as Equipment Inspector & Aramco-CBT EXAM-PID Equipment passed record.

As minimum - Diploma / BE /B Tech (Mechanical) - 5 years of work experience in Inspection
(3 years of work experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical)

Additional Certification: API 510
