Guides and supports subordinates. Operates fixed posts and other assignments as a security officer in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for all KFSH&RC properties and persons.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Guides and supports Security Men assigned to the certain area ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.

2. Provides continual advice, counsel and training to subordinate personnel, as directed.

3. Operates fixed posts within the Hospital to channel visitors/vehicles to authorized areas, assists ambulance arrivals, and keeps ambulance entrance clear of obstructions.

4. Maintains static posts, makes foot patrols of Hospital complex, observes and reports fire and safety hazards, challenges suspected trespassers and non-badged personnel.

5. Responds to all fire alarms and assists in fighting fires and all emergency cases and calls for security assistance.

6. Undergoes cross training as fireman/firefighter.

7. Provides surveillance and protection of Hospital staff, patients, visitors and Hospital property.

8. Responsible for safeguarding critical sites and sensitive areas. Screens and controls visitors/vehicles to Hospital and housing areas.

9. Provides security escorts and protection for VIPs and other dignitaries while in the facility.

10. Examines all property and all materials being removed from KFSH&RC premises to prevent loss or diversion of Hospital property.

11. Prepares preliminary incident reports and other reports of security activities. Makes recommendations to improve security measures and safeguard the facility, personnel and materials.

12. Assists any person with request for information or unusual problems. Carries out other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

13. Works as Traffic Warden, as needed.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s, Associate Degree/ Diploma or High School Education is required.

**Experience Required**:
Three (3) years of related experience is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Saudi National Only.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license is required.
