**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to gather data and create accurate GIS maps and CAD drawings for road infrastructure.
- Utilize GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) to analyze spatial data, perform network analysis, and create thematic maps for road networks, utilities, and related infrastructure.
- Generate precise CAD drawings for road layouts, cross-sections, alignments, and other design elements, adhering to project specifications and standards.
- Maintain and update GIS databases with the latest survey data, as-built drawings, and project documentation to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Assist in the preparation of handover documentation, including GIS/CAD drawings, reports, and presentations for client review and approval.
- Conduct quality checks on GIS/CAD outputs to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in the data, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to project team members on GIS/CAD software usage, data management practices, and standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and external consultants to exchange GIS/CAD data and integrate their contributions into the project deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in GIS/CAD technology, tools, and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines to deliver high-quality GIS/CAD outputs within budget constraints.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a GIS & CAD Technician, preferably in road infrastructure projects or civil engineering.
- Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Bentley MicroStation, and CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize spatial data accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve GIS/CAD-related issues.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with KSA road infrastructure standards, regulations, and practices is desirable.
- Certifications in GIS or CAD software are advantageous.
