Summary
We’re looking for an enthusiastic High School Physics Teacher, who will be a key member of the department and will be responsible for delivering the HS curriculum.

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum
- Deliver an active, hands-on and student-centered program to promote learning in science courses especially physics/ AP physics for high school level students
- Maintain student’s attendance records, grades and other required records
- Supervise students' laboratory work
- Maintain a safe learning environment for students at all times
- Assist students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class
- Observe, monitor and record student progress
- Evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory work, and assignments
- Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class
- Collaborate with colleagues

Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study

Experience and Skills
**Experience**
- Prior experience as a high school Physics teacher is preferred
- Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
- Experience delivering a program according to the precepts of the Common Core Standards, but within an international context

**Skills**
- Sound knowledge of physics for high school level
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral
- Highly-developed classroom management skill
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Maturity to handle a range of situations
- Loyalty and a high level of confidentiality
