Master-Works is seeking a skilled Data Management Specialist for the National Data Management Office (NDMO) to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring effective data management practices are implemented to enhance the quality, accuracy, and usability of data across various projects. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to promote best practices in data governance and management while utilizing your technical expertise to drive initiatives that support the organization’s data strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement data management strategies for NDMO projects in line with organizational goals.
- Oversee data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with data standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data effectively and enhance data integrity.
- Conduct regular assessments of data quality and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Monitor data management processes and recommend improvements to optimize data workflows.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders regarding data management practices and performance.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance data management knowledge among team members and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data management technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in data management or a related role, preferably within a government or regulatory context.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., ETL tools, data modeling tools).
- Experience with data profiling and data quality assessment techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
