The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for the construction site management and logistics for the works, for site construction and several procurement packages with seven area managers and their supporting staff. The incumbent employs exceptional construction knowledge and specialization in several fields of construction engineering.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Undertakes responsibility for overseeing the construction supervision activities of the design consultant and management of construction project (s). Works closely with Project Controls Department to establish and maintain the Master Schedule and Budget. Participates in value engineering reviews during design and construction. Organize and work closely with a high level construction management team to provide oversight of the various site supervision and inspection services provided by the designers through the construction phase, interface with commissioning and start up activities. At all times be available for consultation on any site problem. Liaise as necessary with client representatives. Monitor progress. Reporting and correspondence
- Participate in procurement / tender evaluations. Supervise the preparation of construction procedures.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field is required.
- Twenty years experience in a senior role of construction and engineering a management role of infrastructure projects, and construction of very large multi disciplinary projects with both horizontal and vertical components, multi disciplinary program and complex interface coordination. Recent experience with significant elements of a international airport planning, design and construction.

**What Desired Skills You’ll Bring**
- Proven leadership and excellent written and oral communications skills
- International experience, knowledge of common project delivery methods, knowledge of Middle East works practices preferable.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical and emergency construction operation engineering problems
