**Basic Function**

Responsible for the overall Accounts Receivable (AR) process of issuing sales invoices, sales invoices submission to clients, sales receipts accounting, AR Ledger accounting and debtors master data management.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Reports to the Accounts Receivable Lead and works closely with General Ledger Accountants and business.
- Delivers periodic reporting on AR and unbilled balances
- Provides guidance to drive prompt resolution of aged AR and unbilled balances
- Contacts and chases clients pro-actively to collect outstanding balances according to defined collection processes and in line with Fugro standard best practice collections strategies.
- Drives on-going adherence to AR & Work-in-Progress (WIP) Best Practice Guidelines processes and long term sustainability
- Joins weekly/bi-weekly “AR & WIP cash” meeting of business management to review AR & WIP accounts
- Establishes, communicates, and manages key performance indicators and targets for all AR and unbilled balances (incl. monthly cash target)
- Continuously looks for improvements in the AR process and management of AR.
- Assist with month-end close duties and other tasks when necessary.
- Ensure all work activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with company policies and standards.

**Qualifications / Skills / Experience required**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy.
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages, both written and spoken.
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role.
- Track record of meeting deadlines and producing accurate work.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
