IT Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic IT Leadership**: Develop, implement, and maintain IT strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance in the insurance industry, and the integration of advanced technologies.
- **Insurance Systems Management**: Oversee all IT operations related to insurance core systems (e.g., policy administration, claims management, underwriting), ensuring seamless functionality, high availability, security, and data integrity.
- **AI Integration & Innovation**: Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize insurance operations, enhance customer experience, improve fraud detection, streamline claims processing, and refine risk assessment.
- **Team Leadership & Development**: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaborative problem-solving.
- **Project & Vendor Management**: Oversee complex IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology implementations (with a focus on AI/ML tools), and effectively liaise with external vendors and technology partners.
- **Data Management & Analytics**: Ensure the robust management of insurance data, supporting analytical initiatives and the effective deployment of AI models.
- **Operational Excellence**: Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, minimize downtime, ensure business continuity, and manage IT budgets and resources efficiently.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with Arabic-speaking internal teams and external partners, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven managerial experience (e.g., 7+ years preferred) in IT, with a significant portion specifically within the **insurance industry**.
- In-depth understanding of core insurance IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
- **Fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with local stakeholders and team members.**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

NOTE: As a startup, we offer a competitive base compensation package. We anticipate rapid growth, and as we expand, our compensation model will evolve to include additional performance-based incentives and equity opportunities.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jeddah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
