**Position Title**: Structural Inspector
**Location/Term**: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
**Reports to**: Structural Engineer
**Responsibilities**:
- Inspect structural works (e.g., foundations, concrete, steel) for compliance with designs, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor material quality and workmanship, ensuring adherence to project standards.
- Verify materials meet approved submittals and ensure proper handling/storage.
- Support testing of structural components (e.g., concrete strength, steel checks).
- Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain inspection records and submit progress/compliance reports.
- Enforce on-site safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers to resolve structural issues.
**Competencies**:
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and materials.
- Proficiency in inspection/testing procedures and interpreting design documents.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving and effective communication skills.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s (3+ years) or Diploma (7+ years) in Structural Engineering or related field.
**Experience**:
- 3-7 years in structural inspections for large construction projects.
**Certifications**:
- Registered Engineer with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Structural inspection or QA certifications (preferred).
**Languages**:
- English (mandatory); Arabic (preferred).
**Skills**:
- Familiarity with inspection tools, safety standards, and documentation processes.
