Associate Manager - Credit Advisory

The role is responsible for providing expert credit advisory services to Advise and educate individuals on acquiring and managing debt. Provide guidance in determining the best type of loan and explaining loan requirements or restrictions. Help develop debt management plans, advise on credit issues, and provide budget, risk, and bankruptcy counselling in conformance with the bank's credit policies and SAMA regulation. This role involves close collaboration with clients, senior management, and other departments to ensure the bank's credit policies are adhered to, while delivering tailored solutions that meet clients' financial needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assess clients' overall financial situation by reviewing income, assets, debts, expenses, credit report, and other financial information.
- Calculate clients' available monthly income to meet debt obligations.
- Estimate time for debt repayment given amount of debt, interest rates, and available funds.
- Interview clients over the phone to gather financial information.
- Maintain or update records of client account activity, including financial transactions, counselling session notes, correspondence, and client inquiries.
- Explain general financial topics to clients, such as credit report ratings, risk management, Saudi bankruptcy laws, consumer protection laws, wage attachments, and collection actions.
- Explain loan information to clients, such as available loan types, eligibility requirements, and loan restrictions.
- Update the products policy cards for the unit whenever it's updated by the bank or by SAMA
- Perform any other duties assigned to by line manager related to the nature of the work
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.

**Qualifications**

**Preferred Qualifications**
- A tertiary level qualification from a recognized institution in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

**Years & Nature of Experience**
- Recommended to be a fresh graduate to 3 years of experience in in financial services, banks, credit advising or a similar domain
- If with experience, would have been accountable for completion of assigned tasks and project work and has developed a level of competence to carry out work independently
- Strong knowledge of credit products, credit scoring, and lending policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to analyze financial documents accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems is a plus.
