The Role

**Responsibilities**: Strategic Support tracking of all the following keys business requirements - The Supply Chain Manager together with the Financial Manager will be responsible for the recommendation and alignment of the current ODOO ERP financial and procurement system and implementation of various business supporting business manual documentation. - The Supply Chain Manager is responsible to compile and submit recommended company supply chain policies and procedures, work programs to ensure a comprehensive clear communication aligned with ISO9001 principles. - The Supply Chain Manager together with the HR team will define and build “lean and mean” flexible organizational structures to support the various supply chain functions that will include procurement, logistics as well as storage together with comprehensive job descriptions for each position with clear KPI' s and required qualification and experience to support the work required. Operational reporting and communication - Together with the support of IT team & the Office Manager create a dedicated centralized cloud-based workspace (SharePoint) where the Supply Chain Manager and his team can input their “Daily, Weekly, Monthly Operation Progress Reporting” that will form the basis for all future reporting and tracking of daily performance and operational issues. - Key requirement is well defined annual deadline reporting system that contain all key KPI's driven and tracking “output-based compliances” to all legal requirements within the Saudi Kingdom Support with the Office Manager in updating “Company calendar”. - The office manager will be accountable to compile and manage a detailed companywide office calendar and schedule all relevant Board, production, operational and individual meeting, and sessions with the executive team as well as planning of all visits by various sub-contractors and tender processes. This will include annual reporting requirements, budget cycle planning as well as ad hoc request and requirements. Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager Procurement One of the key areas of supply chain management is procurement, which involves the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of raw materials, components, and products from suppliers. This encompasses supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Procurement is vital to maintaining a stable supply of materials and products for production. - Contract management to include all aspects (e.g. administer, review, manage, file, evaluate, analyze, and negotiate). Negotiate or renegotiate and administer contracts with vendors/suppliers. - Administer bidding process and contracts (e.g. prepare specifications, evaluate bids, recommend vendors, etc.). Evaluate order and bid documentation - Research and evaluate suppliers/vendors/contracts to ensure it is following government regulations (e.g. vendor debarment and suspension regulation). Response to inquiries from internal and external sources in providing information, direction, and or appropriate referrals. - Evaluate suppliers/vendors to ensure its performance is aligned with established specifications. - Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers. - Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders. - Review and maintain good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation. - Review and monitor capital purchases to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures. - Locate or select biodegradable, non-toxic, or other environmentally friendly raw materials for manufacturing processes. - Identify opportunities for cost savings. Logistics Logistics involves the management of the movement and storage of products and materials within the supply chain. This includes transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. Effective logistics management is essential for minimizing transportation costs, reducing lead times, and ensuring on-time delivery of products to customers. - Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues. - Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution. - Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly. - Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents) Inventory Management. Inventory management is the process of overseeing and controlling the flow of goods into and out of a company’s inventory. This involves determining optimal inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and avoiding stockouts or overstock situations. Effective inventory management is crucial for balancing supply and demand and reducing carrying costs. - Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products. - Maintain supply chain inventory
