We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roads Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Roads Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing road infrastructure projects that contribute to the Kingdom's transportation network and urban development initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to the design of road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct engineering analyses and prepare design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for road projects.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex road engineering challenges, particularly those unique to desert environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration with other infrastructure systems.
- Oversee the implementation of road projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and approvals are obtained.
- Stay updated on the latest road engineering technologies, sustainable practices, and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any on-site engineering challenges.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in road design and engineering, with 10+ years preferred
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent, with eligibility for registration in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/Bentley (InRoads and OpenRoads), and other relevant road design software
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian road design standards, regulations, and international best practices
- Demonstrated experience in various road infrastructure projects, including urban and rural road design, intersection improvements, and highway engineering
- Knowledge of desert road engineering principles and experience in designing roads for arid environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to engineering design
- Strong project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus
- Willingness to travel to project sites and adapt to changing work environments
