Inspects various facets of work on the jobsite and performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets, bridges etc.)
- Construction of roads, bridges, and other associated improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping)
- Drainage work, traffic control, compliance with SWPPP requirements
- Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting
- Irrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
- Installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineation
- Installation of mechanical equipment
- Building and facility construction and associated site development
- Taking project photographs on a daily basis and filing them

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required.
- Requires typically 5+ years of related experience on field projects, as well as formal certification from an independent organization, depending on type of inspection assignment.
- Some knowledge of public works contracts may be preferred. Construction safety training including OSHA 10 hour training.
