**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for various phases of civil engineering projects.
- Monitor and report on project costs, variances, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with project teams to maintain and update project budgets and financial reports.
- Analyze and review contractor bids and proposals for cost competitiveness.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of regular project reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends and inflation rates to inform project costing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation or cost engineering in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and contracts.
