Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Engineering Assurance Director **to join our team. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- The Engineering Assurance Director is a key postholder that plays an important role in the Module Delivery team with module/package level. This is a leadership package(s) and operational role that enables a vision to be translated into an operational plan.
- Packages of scope will be designated by the Module Delivery Director. These could be both standard and bespoke packages within the Marina modules with high levels complexity and value in a fast-track environment. Interfacing and co-ordinating with numerous elements of the team to enable planned milestones to be achieved (including progress reporting), reducing the risk exposure by using assurance management techniques on the designated Marina modules whilst enabling greater value to grow, improve and mature.
- The Engineering Assurance Director is a key postholders that plays an important role in the Module Delivery team. This is a role that enables a vision to be translated into an operational plan by ensuring that the Module Delivery Team have all of the compliant & assured engineering & design, construction and testing deliverables and information - including approvals - in place to be able to handover the module to the operator. This relates to the oversight of the base building and the fitout works including any bespoke elements within the module and will require regular liaising with the FM/Client team.
- Become an active champion of legacy knowledge transfer by mentoring designated members of the Projects team and our Saudi nationals colleagues.

- Delivery of the Marina Modules - end to end responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality from design stage 3A to handover to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities.
- Develop and implement the Assurance Strategy
- Develop and implement processes to support the Assurance Strategy through bring a live an operational plan
- Develop and implement KPI’s, using the feedback data to create follow up plans.
- Develop and implement a means of managing non-compliances
- Liaise with internal and external parties to demonstrate levels of assurance and provide evidence as required
- Produce regular reports to internal and external parties
- Champion Assurance activities and the strategy
- Consider, develop and deliver training and familiarisation in order to bring the team up to the appropriate maturity levels
- Develop and implement traceability through the assurance plan (V&V management arrangement)

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- 20 years’ experience - ability to demonstrate major projects experience (design and build) at senior levels
- Chartered Engineer status - degree qualified in engineering / design discipline
- Strong experience in organisation co-ordination.
