Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on steam boilers, burners, and auxiliary equipment (feedwater pumps, deaerators, blowdown systems).
- Inspect, test, calibrate, and repair burner controls, flame detection systems, and pressure/temperature instrumentation.
- Conduct combustion analysis and burner tuning to optimize fuel efficiency and emissions compliance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults; implement corrective actions quickly to minimize downtime.
- Disassemble, clean, and rebuild burner assemblies; replace nozzles, electrodes, igniters, and associated components.
- Monitor water treatment systems; test water quality, adjust chemical dosing, and maintain proper conductivity and pH levels.
- Oversee safety valve testing, boiler hydrostatic tests, and regulatory inspections in accordance with boiler codes (e.g., ASME, local standards).
- Maintain accurate logs of boiler parameters, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and EH&S teams to develop and update maintenance procedures and emergency response plans.
- Train junior technicians on best practices for boiler operation, safety, and preventive maintenance.

Required Technical Skills & Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of fire-tube and water-tube boiler designs.
- Proficiency in burner management systems (BMS) and burner control panels.
- Skilled in combustion tuning, flue gas analysis, and emissions monitoring.
- Strong capabilities in mechanical repairs (valves, pumps, piping) and electrical troubleshooting (motors, starters, PLCs).
- Familiarity with boiler water chemistry, feedwater treatment, and blowdown procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with safety codes and standards (ASME Section I & IV, NFPA 85, local regulations).

Qualifications & Experience
- **Education**: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7 years working directly on industrial steam boilers and burner systems.
- Proven track record of maintaining high boiler availability and efficiency.
- Certifications in boiler operation or safety (e.g., Boiler Operator License) are a plus.

Pay: ﷼2,500.00 - ﷼5,000.00 per month
