Quality Engineer

**Your Job**
You will be responsible for all quality aspects of projects executed by KES through every phase of execution. This role including support of project management team to ensure customer requirements are achieved from a quality standpoint. This includes reading and being knowledgeable on project technical documents that contain specific, critical, and unique project requirements. This role must effectively communicate those expectations to the project leadership team and other project parties. In addition, you will be responsible for operating the Quality Management System (QMS), including writing procedures to support the QMS development. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business. Provide training and champion the Quality Management System.

**What You Will Do**
- Interact with engineering, client representatives, project managers, etc., to assure projects are prepared, executed, and completed in accordance with contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Review project scopes of work, project specifications, material types, and relay information to project team.
- Review project specific weld procedures, welder testing requirements, composing RFI's, and review and comment on shop drawings.
- Attend projects' kick-off meetings with project management team and customers.
- Develop different project quality documents (i.e. ITP's, quality plan, quality procedures, Etc.) in accordance with applicable project specifications.
- Participate in vetting subcontractors.
- Conduct pre-inspection meetings with subcontractors.
- Review and approve quality procedures, NDE certifications and NDE procedures for sub-contractors.
- Conduct regular shop inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee the non-conforming material process, including investigation, resolution, and implementation of corrective measures
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and other applicable industry standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Review, analyse data and provide recommendations for improvement.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Knowledgeable in multiple types of projects, such as structural, piping, heaters, exchangers, flares, boilers, towers, etc.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in international codes and standards (ASME SEC VIII Div.1, ASME SEC.II, ASME SEC.V, ASME B31.3, ASME STS-1, API, NACE, etc.)
- Familiar in Saudi Aramco standards (SAMSS, SAES, SAEP, IR forms, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Familiar in Welding inspection CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in Painting inspection BGAS Grade 2 or equivalent.
- Exposed to NDE (MT, PT, RT or UT).
