**JOB SUMMARY**:
Exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Associate Consultant to join our prestigious hospital in **Saudi Arabia**. In this key role, you will play a vital part in managing critical cases, overseeing junior staff, and contributing to the efficiency of our Emergency Department., Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, timely triage, and optimal resource utilization. Collaborate with medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in the **Pediatric Emergency Medicine **field.
- Manage complex medical cases independently.
- Provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
- Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
- Engage in clinical research activities.
- Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
- Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.
- Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies.
- Pursue continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in the medical field.
- Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Advocate for patient rights and welfare.
- Ensure a patient-centered approach in medical care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Lead and participate in emergency medical responses.
- Provide expertise in critical and urgent medical situations.***

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:

- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of the required period of training in Pediatric and/or Emergency medicine
- Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for Associate Consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must
- Dataflow is a must.

**Professional Experience**
- +2 years experience after certification.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable

**Language**
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
