- The Advanced Dental Assistant performs expanded function Dental Assistant duties that support dentists and dental therapists during clinical procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care in order to contribute to the smooth operation of dental treatments and enhances overall patient satisfaction.

**Operational Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Perform a range of comprehensive and complex clinical supportive functions such as preparing and dismissing patients sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment providing postoperative instructions maintaining supplies and keeping accurate records
- Fully participate in fourhanded dentistry working closely with the dentist to enhance procedural efficiency
- Performs full Expanded function Dental assistant duties
- Work across various Dental Services facilities as assigned receiving supervision and technical guidance from the dentist and reporting to the Supervisor of Dental Support
- Provide guidance and support to Associate Dental Aides

**Minimum Education Required**:

- Bachelor Degree in Dental Assisting

**Professional Certifications Required**:

- SCFHS Certification as applicable

**Years of Experience**:

- Minimum of 9 years' experience

**Languages**:

- English:Advanced ; Arabic:Basic
