**About the job**:
The Red Hat Commercial Sales team is looking for a Commercial Account Solutions Architect

**What you will do**:
Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem (including competing technologies), Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform or competing enterprise automation technologies, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or competing operating systems, and Cloud Service Providers

Ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into proposals, presentations, standard demos, and customer workshops

Experience working with Salesforce and life cycle selling process

Ability to coordinate associates and influence internal and external stakeholders

Serve as the primary technologist for the account and a trusted advisor to client technical teams and their business liaisons

Lead technical conversations, explaining the ways in which Red Hat’s portfolio and architected solutions address the customer’s business and organizational requirements

Identify and mitigate any architectural conflicts within account base, and helps the sales team to identify and win opportunities within the context of the customer’s existing footprint and needs

Own the Technical Account Plan, and part of the overall Account Plan

Scales with Ecosystem team & Business Partners due to larger number of accounts than Enterprise

**What you will bring**:
10+ years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, solutions architect, or a relevant role; experience in presales

Knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat platforms like Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Network Satellite, MRG, or other related technologies

Knowledge of open source cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform and KVM

Knowledge of technologies like clustering, directory services, and identity management

Excellent technical capabilities in modern methodologies like agile, DevOps, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and related capabilities like automation, orchestration, and configuration management

Experience with Linux system programming and system administration

Experienced knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem (including competing technologies), Ansible and/or competing enterprise automation technologies, RHEL and/or competing operating systems, Cloud Service Providers

Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools, and best practices, and Application Development concepts

Ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into proposals, presentations, standard demos & customer workshops

Experience working with Salesforce & Lifecycle Selling process

Ability to orchestrate resources and influence internal and external stakeholders

Consultative Selling Excellence

What you will bring
