As a **Data Management Consultant**, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to assess current data maturity, align data practices with organizational goals, and ensure compliance with national and international standards (e.g., NDMO, DAMA-DMBOK, ISO 8000).

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess the current state of data management processes, tools, and governance structures.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
- Define data standards, business glossaries, and metadata frameworks.
- Support the development of data catalogs and data lineage documentation.
- Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to enforce data quality and governance.
- Lead data maturity assessments and gap analysis reports.
- Provide expertise in master data management (MDM) and reference data frameworks.
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops to build internal data management capabilities.
- Align data practices with regulatory standards such as PDPL, GDPR, NDMO, or industry-specific regulations.
- Monitor compliance with data governance and data stewardship roles.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or data quality management.
- Solid understanding of data management frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM).
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend).
- Knowledge of metadata management and data cataloging tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data architecture (e.g., Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Certifications**:

- CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) by DAMA
- DGSP (Data Governance and Stewardship Professional)
- TOGAF (for data architecture alignment)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent
