Senior Cyber Security Architect Contractor

Joe Bassett is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Architect to work 1 year with extension/possible full time contract in Riyadh (project based).
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Proficiency in network security, encryption, IAM, and security assessment tools.
- Preferably worked for a IT and consulting organisation and are adaptive to various industries.
- 10+ years infosec / cybersec experience prefered.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans for cloud-related security incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response.
- Perform regular security assessments, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on secure cloud practices and emerging threats.
- Design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures, considering scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
