**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitised and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Organise and store kitchen supplies and equipment efficiently to maximise workspace.
- Support the culinary team during service by providing assistance with plating and serving as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as required.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork abilities, demonstrating a willingness to support colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service to guests.
