You as a Field Service Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be installing, testing, and commissioning of Hitachi Energy High Voltage products like, High Voltage GIS, GCB, DTB, LTB and its associated components, High Voltage products control and monitoring system, operating devices, protection, measuring and control. Operating mechanism and drives, SF6 gas handling and its measuring devices, results analysis, and all jobs related to Hitachi Energy High Voltage products advised or assigned by the line manager. Providing third party High Voltage products if trained and advised by the management.

**Your**responsibilities**
- Mainly working as Senior Field Service Engineer to execute the installation testing and commissioning activities at customer site or Hitachi Energy projects related to the high voltage products, including third party high voltage products if applicable and authorized by Hitachi Energy management.
- Activating participation in site activities and visiting the customer site for Installation testing and commissioning of Hitachi Energy transformers and transformer related activities. Working on other equipment related to the transformer as and when required or assigned by the line manager. Participating in the PGTR project and work with project team as and when assigned.
- Coordinating or interfacing with tools management department and take care of high voltage tools, arranging, and properly use Transformer test equipment and tools to execute site activities for installation, testing and commissioning.
- Completing GIS Bay or GIS compartment assembly work, minor fabrications if required, trouble shooting, and rectification of High Voltage products defect workable at customer site and advise the action plan if the repair work need to be carried out in Hitachi Energy factory or workshop.
- Supporting the work activities of High Voltage Service at site, and at customer workplace.
- Learning and performing the test equipment operation used for High Voltage product testing, commissioning, and maintenance work. Learning procedure and methods how to use the special tools used for High Voltage products service jobs.
- Working with Project Management team on various project as and when required with full compliance of Project Manager requirement and maintain discipline advise by the Project Manager or customer site regulations.
- Leading the contractor or sub-contractor during job execution and coordinate with customer and back-office support for any resources requirements to complete the job. Getting the PAC or time sheets signed by the customer after completion of assigned task that can be used to invoice the customer.
- Preparing and providing site reports, activity plans resource requirements and share it with the Project Manager, line manager or supervisor, preparing method of statement as and when required that can be shared with the customer in case asked by the customer or it is a contractual binding.
- Following the company rules and regulations, display good behavior at office and at site, any safety or integrity incident should be reported to line manager, supervisor, or project manager. Implementing Hitachi Energy values in day-to-day activity.
- Preparing and submit weekly and monthly time sheet, expanse report as per company guideline in timely manner, preparing travel authorization prior to start the travelling for site or deployment.

**Your background**
- A bachelor's degree or Diploma in electrical or mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high voltage products.
- Experience with electrical equipment, switchgears, High Voltage switchgear protection and control, monitoring and measuring devices, industries, or utilities companies.
- Experience in GIS and High Voltage products.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
