Our client - a major real estate developer in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a **Senior** **Construction Manager **for its exquisite, luxury tourism destination project being developed along the northwestern Red Sea coastline of Saudi Arabia
The **Senior Construction Manager ** will **plan, coordinate, and manage every aspect of a project from start to finish**. This position will also be responsible for the safety, budgeting, and scheduling of the construction activities of the project.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns.
- Propose in house Project Management procedure to comply with Contract requirements and Client’s procedures.
- Establish and maintain specific project procedures for Design/Construction Supervision Management (as applicable).
- Prepare a special report to the Senior Project Manager to investigate any problem related to the Scope of Services and recommend solutions to Management.
- Identify priorities and tasks and develop the organization structure to assure execution of tasks, by providing clear direction on methods, time frame and schedule to achieve the stated goals.
- Provide a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities of PM staff.
- Attend Executive meetings and progress meetings.
- Monitor performance to assure the successful delivery of the Key Performance Indicators and client contractual requirements.
- Advice the Senior Project Manager on any potential variation to the Design/Supervision Consultant and Contractor’s scope of work that may generate cost or time impact and present the Project Management’s assessment.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in leading the Project Management staff in assessing variations and claims and report the technical position of the proposed variation to the Client.
- Advise the Senior Project Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and propose corrective actions.
- Review weekly and monthly reports as presented by Design/Supervision Consultant(s) and Contractor and present to the Client comments of non-compliance, and/or area of concern and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Design Manager during the detailed design stage of the Project to ensure Design Compliance with Client requirement avoid any cost impact.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field, with at least **20 years of mega project and construction management experience in civil works and infrastructure projects.**:
- **PMP, CIOB, RICS or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.**:
- **Strong civil and infrastructure background**:
- **SITE experience on the contractor's side is a must.**:
- Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Proven working experience in construction management or similar role
- Good knowledge of construction management methodologies.
**Salary**: ﷼45,000.00 - ﷼50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tabuk: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (required)
**Experience**:
- construction management: 10 years (required)
- infrastructure project: 10 years (required)
- civil works: 10 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- PMP (preferred)
