**Key Responsibilities**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Review and maintain knowledge of the Terms and Conditions of all contracts for which you are responsible.
- Attend kick-off meetings and subsequent progress meetings with contractors; produce and distribute minutes of meetings.
- Identify and report potential problem areas, particularly those likely to give rise to claims.
- Assist the contracts administrator in the analysis and resolution of contractors' claims.
- Conduct final measurement on work executed and prepare and agree on final accounts.
- Assist in the close-out of completed claims.
- Liaise with the client in all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of contracts.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to optimize project costs.
- Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications and costs are aligned.
- Monitor project progress, financial performance, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes, ensuring effective resolution strategies.
- Mentor and train junior quantity surveyors and support their professional development.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal aspects of contracts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
