Working within the Information & Technology (IT) division, we are looking for a Head of Construction Logistics and Systems (CL&S). The core responsibilities of the Head of CL&S are:

- Managing the activities of a large work unit (10-20 employees) dedicated to providing support related to systems supporting the Construction & Logistics (C&L) functions across the program
- Manages the team of technical specialists, and administrators that would support and administer these environments
- Identify ways to improve efficiency within the C&L function thru Automation/scripting and provide leadership in developing such automation
- Evaluates systems requirements across the program for the C&L function; identifies and recommends consolidation, modifications, upgrades, and new systems that will effectively meet the needs of program C&L staff while providing efficiencies and cost-effective solutions for program
- Implements and supports the end to end use of several technologies that applies to the C&L arena such as wearable devices, IOT, Drones
- Defines scope of work, schedule, standards, and procedures for installing, testing, implementing, using and maintaining third-party and internal products and services. Establishes priorities, budget estimates and staffing requirements for third-party projects as well as internal design or development projects
- Supervises the overall management and implementation of third-party C&L products and services. Tracks the use of third-party products and services and maintains relationships with vendors and contractors. Identifies and works with vendors and contractors to resolve questions, issues, and problems

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of the several Application platforms used in the AEC industry as related to Construction & Logistics such as not limited to VAULT, Drone technologies, IOT, Fleet Management, AI based tools, Lidar Technologies, Labor productivity tools etc.
- 15+ years progressive experience working with engineering-related software and/or engineering IT technologies, including 10+ years in a leadership role.
- Degree educated
- Specific industry knowledge within the engineering and construction sector
- Strong knowledge of Business Processes that enables the engineering and construction industry specifically within C&L
- Working knowledge of software licensing models and requirements
- Strong technical understanding of the infrastructure required for hosted systems such as servers, advanced 2D/3D hardware, networks, SAAS and ancillary systems
- Strong Knowledge in the end-to-end implementation, operations and support of Safety related wearable technologies
- Managing vendors and vendor SLAs
