The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Responsible for managing the information management (IM) function, contributing to developing strategic development, standards and management plans, and both leading delivery of the IM discipline for client projects/programmes. Provides leadership and direction across function and supports and coaches managers.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Acts as a thought leader in IM.
- Defines and delivers IM strategies, standards (including ISO19650) and processes within Mace Way and for client-facing projects.
- Establishes and manages the project/programme IM function following the strategy, standards and processes set.
- Executes assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
- Provides expert technical and functional advice, contributing to, and shared ownership of aspects of global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge.
- Proactively contributes to bids in terms of IM strategies and solutions, driving successful delivery.
- Manages a large team (or several teams) of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to achieve success and key performance indicators (KPIs), including a continuous improvement culture.
- Provides performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

- Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM, (or equivalent) Association of Information Managers.
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
- Subject expert experience in key IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, business collaborator and etc.
- Information management leadership experience across a number of projects/programmes.
- Information architecture. Naming, numbering, filing, ISO19650.
- Big project and programme experience leading in IM and document control.
- Experience in setting up of the document control and IM function. Standards setting.
- Experience in construction, property, and real estate industry.
- Security, cyber security, data protection awareness.
- Experience of working in an international setting either remotely from or outside the UK.
