**ABOUT THE HOSPITAL**:
This 350-bed Armed Forces Hospital was established in 1980, near Taif, on the road to holy Mecca. It sits 1900 meters above sea level and this area has nice weather throughout the year. The hospital provides an excellent standard of quality, with comprehensive medical services through their team of highly professional staff with international qualifications and experiences. They have certain referral functions and with some sub speciality services such as Cardiac Surgery. The hospital is run and administered directly by the Ministry of Defence.

The facility contains a housing compound that consists of schools, restaurant, supermarket, and a community centre that also contains an auditorium, gym, swimming pool and playgrounds.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- 2 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
- 2 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:
UK - CCT
USA - American Board
Canada - Canadian Fellowship
Ireland - CSD/CSCST
Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)
France - DES/DESC
Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the licensing authorities.
**BENEFITS INCLUDED**: Salary: SR Negotiable
Bonus: ½ Months’ salary per annum
Contract Duration: 1 year renewable
Contract Status: Married (if required) Self, spouse & 2 children (to18yrs)
Accommodation: Provided free of charge - fully furnished
Utilities: Provided free of charge
Flights: For family at start & end of contract year
Leave: 48 days a year - can be split
Ed Allowance: Schooling provided at the local international school
Study leave: Yes. 7 days per annum.
Medical Cover: Provided
Transport: As required
Hours of Work: 48 hrs over 5 or 5 ½ days a week
On call: As required within speciality
Start Date: By agreement
